Quick Start (Cloud)
From a new organisation to a working agent, in about five minutes.
This walks through the shortest useful path on SynapseOrch Cloud. You will need an account — sign up first.
1. Create your organisation
On first sign-in you create an organisation and become its owner. Answer the setup questions or skip them — they only choose which templates are recommended next.
2. Pick a model
Platform models work straight away, drawing on your wallet: the Free plan includes $2 of them a month, so you do not need payment details to try this. Or add your own provider key under Settings → Models and pay your provider directly.
3. Create an agent
Build → Agents → New agent.
- Name — what it is for, not what it is
- Type — Conversational, the default
- Tools — start with nothing, or one thing. An agent with every tool is harder to reason about, and costs prompt tokens on every turn
- System prompt — what it should do, and what it should not
Save.
4. Talk to it
Build → Chat, pick your agent in the Agent picker — type to search — and send a message. You will see its thinking and any tool calls as it works.
This is the fastest way to find out whether the agent is configured the way you think before you put it behind anything.
5. Make it a workflow
Chat is one agent answering. An workflow is a path you define — several steps, several agents, branching, and pauses for a person.
The quickest way in is to describe the outcome to Synapse AI and let it build the workflow, then read what it made on the canvas before you run it. Run asks what the run should work on — Its steps read this as the goal of the run.
Then what
| If you want to | Go to |
|---|---|
| Learn it step by step, on one example workspace | Guides |
| Run it on a schedule | Schedules |
| Reach it from your own code | API keys and the Developer page |
| Put it on your website | Chat widget |
| Reach it from Slack or Telegram | Messaging channels |
| Know whether it is any good | Evals |
| Choose who hears about what | Notifications and email |
| Understand the bill | Plans and credits |
Cloud or Self-Host
The same engine either way. What differs is who runs the infrastructure and what you get on top.
Install locally
One command installs SynapseOrch with nothing installed first — it brings its own Python, Node.js if you need it, and a browser for your agents. Docker, npm, pip and a source checkout work too.
